Donald Trump reignited his feud with popstar Taylor Swift on Friday, mocking her in a Truth Social post that read:

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt downplayed the attack, saying Trump was trolling Swift over her political views. "Look, he (Trump) is speaking about Taylor Swift's political views and how they may have impacted the American public's support for her work," Leavitt said, smiling.
The comment marks a fresh event in the ongoing hostility between the two, which escalated after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential race. “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift had posted on Instagram following the first and only debate between Trump and Harris.
Following her 2024 endorsement of Harris, Trump told Fox & Friends: “I’m not a Taylor Swift fan… She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”
