Tesla CEO Elon Musk appeared to rekindle ties with President Donald Trump over the weekend following days of public criticism. The shift came as protests escalated in Los Angeles in response to immigration raids and actions by federal agents.
Musk deleted several critical posts, including one that called for Trump’s impeachment and another that linked the president to the Jeffrey Epstein case without evidence.

Instead, Musk praised the administration’s handling of the LA unrest, reposting a message from Vice President JD Vance about cracking down on “rioting and violence.”
He also re-followed White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, a move noted by insiders as symbolic. Musk had unfollowed Miller during last week's feud.
Despite backing the Trump administration’s immigration stance, Musk maintained opposition to parts of Trump’s domestic policy, particularly the proposed spending bill, calling it fiscally irresponsible.
Tesla’s stock rebounded slightly after the apparent détente.
